Andrea Hurn Andrea Hurn
Vice President of Management

Andrea Hurn joined Sterling Management in 2004 and oversees the day-to-day operations of the property management company. Andrea is a visionary leader and consummate mentor to her team, which currently numbers over 250 colleagues in Sterling’s management division. Charged with developing Sterling Management’s strategic plan and growing the business both internally and externally, she is a skilled manager, creative thinker and has a history of success throughout her 18 years in the multifamily industry.

Before joining Sterling Management, Andrea held a variety of Property Management roles in several markets throughout the Midwest and out East, which provided extensive knowledge of garden and mid-rise product for both Conventional and Tax Credit programs. Andrea is member of the advisory board for Ball State’s Regional Property Manager Program and is an active member of IAA and NMHC. Andrea is a 1990 graduate of the University of Michigan and holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration.


Leslie Chase Leslie Chase
Assistant Vice President of Management

Leslie Chase joined Sterling Management in 2004 and has over 4,000 units for which she is responsible for ensuring operational excellence. Leslie has an innate ability to create exemplary teams that are capable of outstanding performance for both customer and owner. She is very involved with growing the third party portion of Sterling’s business plan by creating relationships through proven results. She has held many multi-site positions throughout her 20 years of experience including private owner/operators, Real Estate Investment Trusts and third party management. Her strengths also include acquisitions, dispositions, major renovation projects and repositioning assets in difficult markets. Leslie is a 1990 graduate of Michigan State University and holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Prelaw. Leslie is an active member of IREM, PMAM, and is currently a CPM candidate.


Diane Gee Diane Gee
Director of Management

Diane Gee joined Sterling Management in 2006 and her role is to research, develop and monitor the policy and procedure needs of the Management Company, to ensure the operational needs of this division are met. This allows maximum efficiency and translates into a positive impact to the bottom line of each property. Her work includes producing a high quality product that can be duplicated throughout the portfolio and sustain itself without constant review. Diane also provides training, quality control, Yardi expertise and is involved in the oversight of acquisitions and dispositions. With over 17 years of property management experience, Diane brings a wide variety of knowledge and experience to Sterling. Diane’s passion for serving customers is key to meeting the objectives of all levels of the organization.

Before joining Sterling Management, Diane held a variety of Property Management roles in markets throughout the Midwest, including on-site management, working on the development and construction of multi-family product, construction accounting and training, which provided extensive knowledge of many aspects of our business.
